Ava Galli, Writer / Director of Safie (2023), Soul-Bird (2022) and False Prophet (2022), has been has been writing and directing for some time but has only just come into her own. She recently developed her own filmmaking identity under the company Almighty Aphrodite Productions which she Chief Execs with Thalia Leonard. She focuses on creating a fresh feminist approach to the fantasy genre often inspired by mythology and folklore. Her most recent project, Safie, was an ode to Mary Shelley, a great heroine of hers, and so she wishes to continue bringing phenomenal women's stories to the screen.
